The 2FGP20 Fork is an electric fork palletising gripper designed for boxes of up to 16 kg that need bottom support. It provides a broad gripping range, adjustable stroke and clamping force, intelligent grip detection, and a built-in vacuum for handling slip sheets. Thanks to its integrated software, single-cable connection, and patented quick changer, it deploys easily across any robot brand, with no bespoke engineering needed.

Handle challenging packaging
Bring more packaging formats into automated palletizing. The 2FGP20 Fork supports boxes from below, making it suitable for open cartons, display boxes, loose-lid boxes and low-rigidity packaging that can be difficult to grip from the top or clamp from the sides.
The forks carry the load while an adjustable top clamp holds the box in place. This gives you a practical way to handle challenging packaging without relying on an airtight top surface or rigid sidewalls.
Simplify deployment and changeovers
Handle a wide range of box sizes with adjustable stroke, speed, and top-clamp force. Intelligent grip detection confirms when a box is securely gripped and alerts you if the load is lost, helping ensure reliable handling throughout the palletising process.
Integrated vacuum
Keep palletising running without unnecessary tool changes. The 2FGP20 Fork’s integrated vacuum enables the same gripper to handle both boxes and paper or cardboard slip sheets. Configurable suction cups provide reliable sheet pickup, simplifying the application and reducing cycle time.
Features of the Intelligent Fork Gripper
Controlled handling up to 16 kg
Support boxes from below with a fork payload up to 16 kg. Adjust top-clamp force from 10 to 40 N and fork speed from 16 to 180 mm/s.
Intelligent grip feedback detects a successful grip and alerts if the part is lost.
Standard and custom fork options
Choose narrow or wide forks in short or long versions. Depending on the configuration, standard forks cover box heights of 100–450 mm and widths of 120–400 mm.
Fork stroke is up to 260 mm, with up to 218 mm of clamp stroke. Custom forks or a custom top clamp can accommodate dimensions outside the standard range.
Interlayer handling with the same tool
Use the integrated electric vacuum pump with a suitable bracket and suction cups to pick up interlayer sheets without changing grippers.
A square cup layout suits cardboard or multilayer paper, while a row layout suits paper and similar sheets. Vacuum payload is up to 2.5 kg with the delivered attachments.
